I'm glad there isn't an emphasis on any particular path or tradition here - my entre into the world of spirit was through alcoholism. Plenty spirits there. But learning to stay sober over an extended period of time requires inner work, to eliminate the buttons that keep us uncomfortable. It's through this process of eliminating those things that impede our progress in the world that I suddenly realized, at some point, that the process of elimination actually started adding in some other ways. What this has led to, in me, is the awareness that we are all One, we are all, in essence, 'god'. The Intelligence is contained within us; the same intelligence that keeps our hearts beating when we're asleep. It is within all, including things animate and inanimate. What an incredibly strange period of time we're living.
